Remote and automatic control of air separation units is provided by valve components with electric and pneumatic actuators.\r\n\r\nFor example:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Safety valves are installed on equipment, vessels and pipelines to prevent the maximum allowable pressure from being exceeded;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Check valves allow flow to pass in only one direction, for example to prevent alkali from being carried over from the decarbonizer back into the compressor;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Throttle valves are used to reduce the pressure of compressed gases;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Cold shut-off valves operate at temperatures down to -200\u00a0\u00b0C;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>and others.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2>Requirements<\/h2>\r\nGOST 34294\u20132017 applies to all types of pipeline valves and fittings designed for a nominal pressure up to PN 250 and a working medium temperature from -50 to -270\u00a0\u00b0C. The state standard specifies design features, technical characteristics, classification, permissible materials, manufacturing methods, scope of supply, reliability, safety and resistance to external influences, as well as inspection and test methods.\r\n<h2>About the company<\/h2>\r\nThe potential risks associated with the use of cryogenic valves and fittings are minimized when all components undergo full inspection and testing during manufacture and when products are purchased from trusted suppliers.
