Isothermal containers and tanks

An isothermal tank for storing liquefied gases is a special technological container capable of withstanding the constant low temperatures of the substances filling its interior. These vessels are used to store and transport gaseous carbon derivatives in a liquefied state.

Installation of isothermal tanks

Ground-mounted horizontal isothermal tanks They are delivered to the installation site as a single unit or divided into two halves. They are supported by a reinforced concrete foundation or a sand cushion with waterproofing. The halves are welded together, pressure tested, and insulated with several layers of glass mat and a moisture and vapor barrier made of galvanized steel or aluminum foil.

Completeness

Supplied as a storage unit with safety fittings, level gauges, and instrumentation. Isothermal storage tank It has two walls, with the air pumped out of the space between them. The vacuum layer is filled with perlite. The casing is usually made of carbon steel, and the inner vessel is made of a heat-resistant alloy or aluminum.
